Two Slot Developers Launch Legend-Inspired New Slots

Another week goes by, and we’re looking at yet more new games that have been released by online casino software providers. In an interesting turn of events, this week’s new slots are mainly themed on legendary characters, both real and mythical. It is rare to see so many new games debut with a similar theme, but clearly, some software providers have been peeking at what others were doing during the development phase. So, what can you expect to see?

This week sees the debut of Stakelogic’s Stone Gaze of Medusa slot. You’ll also find that ELK Studio’s Ashoka is set to debut next week. It is based on a historical character, Ashoka the Great, India’s Mauryan Emperor. Outside of the two main new slot releases, there are also a few other games to consider, and as always, Gamesbelt new slot game news has those covered, too. Let’s get stuck in, starting with Stakelogic’s newest effort.

Stone Gaze Of Medusa

Don’t Avoid the Stone Gaze of Medusa

Do you know how everyone tells you that you should never stare into Medusa’s gaze? Forget that. We’re living in the real world, and in this life, you definitely want to look at the Stone Gaze of Medusa. Launched on May 23, this Stakelogic slot is similar to Pragmatic Play’s Gate of Olympus in terms of gameplay, offers a Scatter Pays mechanic, and has a non-progressive jackpot worth 10,000x. This highly volatile game can also be played for as little as 10p a pop.

The slot contains a handful of nifty features, not least multiplier symbols and power symbols. The latter can see you destroy all sorts of symbols, leading to bigger and better wins while you play. On top of that, there is also a free spin bonus round that offers multipliers, and you’ll get the opportunity to buy a free spin feature out right if you don’t mind stumping up 100x your stake.

Ashoka Eternal Debuts from ELK Studios Next Month

The other new slot to debut comes from ELK Studios, and we must stress that it isn’t out yet – it debuts on June 4. Despite that, Gamesbelt has already had a good look at it, and we’re happy to tell you what to expect.

Ashoka Eternal is, of course, themed on the famous Indian emperor of the same name, and it is played over five reels, seven rows and with a Cluster Pays engine. Ashoka Eternal is, in fact, a sequel to ELK’s original Ashoka slot, which debuted last year. This new sequel features a fun-filled multiplier wheel, a Charged Wild & Redrop Symbol bonus, and a bonus feature that offers free spins to players with the chance to benefit from global multipliers to boost their wins. There is also an X-iter mechanic that can deliver additional goodies, including a Bonus Cash Prize (100x), Bonus Hunt, Charged Wilds, Super Bonus Cash Prize (500x), Super Multiplier Wheel, and more.

Other New Slots Debuting This Week

If neither of these legend-inspired slots ticks your boxes, there are a few others. There really is a surplus of legendary figure-inspired new games debuting at the minute. Quickspin, for instance, has recently unveiled their Shields of Lambda slot, which is loosely based on ancient Greece. You might also try Pragmatic Play’s Heroic Spins if you fancy a less serious game than its counterparts. Either way, there’s plenty to play if you like this theme and want to sign up at Gamesbelt’s top and recommended online casinos today.
