Evolution, the world leader in live dealer casino games, has provided titles to state-licensed US casinos for a couple of years now. Caesars in Pennsylvania aims to be different. Gamesbelt reports that Caesars Live Casino Studio has been launched, aimed at three of the brands in the Keystone State, and will be developed with Evolution.
The brand-new studio is set to be made available to players in Caesars Palace, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and the Horseshoe, all online casinos licensed in Pennsylvania, operated by Caesars and featuring Evolution’s top titles.
As an online casino, Caesars isn’t limited to Pennsylvania. The globally renowned brand also operates online casinos in New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia, alongside Ontario, north of the border in Canada. At this time, only Pennsylvania is set to receive the new Caesars live casino studio, although there is groundwork laid for launches in other states.
Exclusive Features of the New Caesars Live Casino Studio in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania’s new Caesars live casino studio is set to feature five new blackjack tables, a baccarat table, and a new roulette game, although it isn’t immediately apparent what variant the roulette table will be based on. Of the blackjack games, at least one is expected to be a VIP table. Players needn’t worry about being able to play other Evolution favourites, though, with the software provider’s other studios still streaming other titles from their existing studios to players at Caesars’ online casinos in Pennsylvania.
What sets apart this deal from other online casinos across the US featuring Evolution’s live games is the exclusivity of the studio. The new venture will offer a Caesars live casino studio. No other US casino brand will receive the games streamed from the studio. It’s a move that Caesars will undoubtedly hope pulls in players from rival casinos.
Speaking on the deal, Caesars Digital’s Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer, Matt Sunderland, commented that by creating a customised live dealer studio, Caesars users can expect a Las Vegas-style experience from the comfort of their own homes. Much of the design of the new studio is heavily inspired by Caesars’ Vegas venue, including the Roman pomp, statue of Julius Caesar, and wall panelling. The aim is clearly to bring as much of that world-famous venue to players’ homes as possible.
Evolution and Caesars: A Landmark Partnership for the Caesars Live Casino Studio
Evolution has also been full of praise for the deal. CEO of Evolution North America, Jacob Claesson, said that by opening a new studio in Philadelphia, Evolution would combine their cutting-edge technology with Caesars global brand, allowing bettors to enjoy elegant gameplay online.
Elsewhere, Evolution recently agreed to a partnership extension with FanDuel that will last another three years. While Evolution’s star is rising stateside, the news comes at a time when Evolution is in hot water across the pond, following an announcement that the UK Gambling Commission is investigating the company.
Gamesbelt reports that Evolution Gaming is reportedly under investigation after the regulator found that its titles are playable at operators catering to UK players but who are unlicensed to do so. Evolution has taken measures to cooperate with the UKGC and has immediately revoked access to its games from unlicensed sites.
Potential penalties include a financial sanction or, in the most extreme case, a license suspension. However, it is anticipated that Evolution’s quick action will result in a slap on the wrist. Either way, it will be something regulators in the Keystone State will be keeping a close eye on as the new Caesars and Evolution studio goes live.
The online casino apps and desktop platforms integrate seamlessly with the company’s loyalty program, Caesars Rewards, linking online gaming to exclusive member benefits.
