Evolution might as well have a monopoly on wheel-based live casino games. Most of the mainstream examples of these types of titles can be found in their portfolio, and I’ve played them all. However, rather than just mimic and clone what they’ve done before with Dream Catcher, Monopoly, and other titles, Crazy Time goes down a different road. Naturally, I’m going to explain how it all works for Gamesbelt readers right here.

Setting Up Bets
If you’ve played any wheel-based game show release from Evolution before, you’ll know what follows here. As with those other titles, you’ve got a segmented wheel, and you’re betting on each segment or the bonus segments.
You can slap down bets on 1, 2, 5 or 10 or use any of the four bonus segments to bet on. These include Cash Hunt, Coin Flip, Crazy Time, and Pachinko. Betting windows are brief. I found those windows to be around thirty seconds long, with fifteen seconds between the betting window closing and the game beginning. It’s fairly rapid stuff.
Crazy Time’s wagering range can flex between 0.10 and 5,000.00, depending on where you play. I wasn’t going anywhere near the upper margins for testing, but the prize payout to stake ratio is the same no matter what bets you make. Anyway, that’s betting covered – let’s talk about how the game works next.
Crazy Time Gameplay
At face value, you won’t notice much difference between Crazy Time and some of the other Evolution-developed money wheels mentioned above. However, there are differences, especially when it comes to the bonuses, and we’ll come to those shortly.
Before the spin a multiplier may be applied from the Top Slot. This two-reel slot will determine a multiplier ranging from 2x up to 50x, and a segment if the symbols line up. This will then be applied to the game.
There are 54 segments on the Crazy Time wheel. Forty-five of those are numbered 1, 2, 5 and 10. These results in multipliers against your total bet being paid out if you successfully bet on them and the pointer lands on them.
The bonus segments trigger a bonus round if they are selected, but you’ll need to have specifically bet on them. We’ll look at how each works in a few minutes, but first, let’s talk about prizes.
What Can I Win on Crazy Time?
Crazy Time is a fortune wheel-style game, so to pocket a prize in the base game, you’ll simply need the flipper to land on the segment you’ve bet on. The scope for prizes is considerably more diverse when it comes to the bonuses. I was able to land small and large prizes, with no real indicator of what was up for grabs until I won. Here’s a rough idea of what you can expect:
Segment | Payout |
1 | 1:1 |
2 | 2:1 |
5 | 5:1 |
10 | 10:1 |
Of course, if the Top Slot mechanic comes into play, wins can potentially be worth a lot more. As for the bonus rounds, they will typically pay out prizes like so:
Bonus Round | Payouts |
Cash Hunt | Random multiplier |
Coin Flip Bonus | Up to 5,000x |
Crazy Time | Up to 20,000x |
Pachinko Bonus | 2x upwards |
Meet Crazy Time’s Four Bonus Rounds
As touched on, you’ll need to have a bet on a bonus round to be in with a shout of triggering them. They aren’t side-bets, though – not really. I found that triggering them is surprisingly easier than it sounds, given the number of segments dedicated to bonus rounds on the wheel.
Once you do get a sniff, here’s what you can expect to see:
- Cash Hunt: This wall-based bonus allows you to choose from 108 spots. Each has a multiplier. This is the most random of the bonuses when it comes to prizes, and it has an RTP rate of 95.27%.
- Coin Flip: The Coin Flip bonus will see random multipliers applied to both the red and blue sites of a coin. However, if you’ve got Top Slot multipliers, they can be carried over. The RTP rate here is 95.7%. You’re guaranteed one of the prizes.
- Crazy Time: I wanted this bonus, and you will, too. It’s the best one. It offers a 64-segment Mega Wheel. It’s got three flippers, and you can pick one. You’re guaranteed a prize, and the prizes here are worth the largest sums in the game.
- Pachinko: The Pachinko bonus sees you drop a puck into a pachinko machine (of course). It’s arguably the bonus round which is the most fun, but it has the lowest RTP rate at just 94.33% and has the lowest-paying multipliers.
Gamesbelt’s Verdict
Crazy Time is far more bonus-intensive than its sister wheel slots from Evolution. I found that you don’t have to wait overly long to land a decent enough win in the bonus rounds, and its multipliers are considerably valuable. Just dodge the Pachinko bonus and try to land the Crazy Time bonus if you can – there’s far more value in that round, but there are fewer chances to trigger it as a result.

FAQ
What is the RTP rate in Crazy Time?
That depends on the part of the game you’re playing. In general, it’s 96.08%, but the bonuses feature lower RTP rates. You can find those if you scroll up to the bonus section.
Am I guaranteed cash prizes in Crazy Time’s bonuses?
Yes. Because they are not side-bets and they aren’t gamble modes, you’re guaranteed to win something if you trigger a Crazy Time bonus.
How much can I win playing Evolution’s Crazy Time online?
In theory, you can win up to 20,000x your bet. The maximum prize is capped at 500,000.00, though, and you’ll need a decent Crazy Time bonus session to land that prize.
