The English Premier League Has Decent Odds This Weekend: Who Will Get the Maximum Points?

Since the English Premier League is the biggest league in the world, punters will always get lucrative EPL odds almost every weekend. This weekend, we have a Super Sunday clash for the title challenge, with Liverpool and Manchester City going head-to-head for the maximum three points and Arsenal aiming to beat Brentford and stay close or take the top spot. The clash between Aston Villa and Tottenham also plays a massive role in deciding who will finish in the top 4 and qualify for the UCL.

When two in-form teams play, it might be challenging to know where the best odds favour them, like we saw in gameweek 24. In this GamesBelt Premier League predictions article, we preview the three games that will play a huge role in who wins the league and who makes the top 4.

Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield

You can definitely expect fireworks in this Super Sunday EPL encounter. Jürgen Klopp’s soldiers survived Nottingham Forest in the last game, with striker Darwin Nunez scoring the winner in the last minute of the game. However, against City, the Reds have a bigger threat against Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, and Co. Mo Salah might be fit for the Sunday clash. Moreover, Dominik Szoboszlai, who is fit again, is in contention to start the game.

Pep Guardiola’s men, on the other hand, beat city rivals Man United 3-1, but seeing that Liverpool is a formidable team at home, the visit to Anfield will not be a walk in the park. Man City has a full squad except for Jack Grealish, who is out with a groin injury.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Manchester City have not collected the maximum three points against another top-five club this season? Take note of this before placing your bets.

Arsenal vs. Brentford

Arsenal is in top form and will be aiming to build on the magnificent 6-0 victory over last-placed Sheffield United in their derby against Brentford on match day 28. The Gunners have been excellent of late and are scoring for fun. Zinchenko and Tomiyasu are major doubts, but Kai Havertz’s presence will be a plus for Arsenal. The German star has started proving his doubters wrong since his move from Chelsea.

On the other hand, the Bees are sitting only 6 points above the relegation zone. We predict that Arsenal will easily carry the day and collect all three points, considering several Brentford players like Joshua Da Silva, Ben Mee, Aaron Hickey, and Ethan Pinnock are injured.

Aston Villa vs. Tottenham at Villa Park Stadium

At the moment, Aston Villa are sitting fourth, while Spurs are in fifth. The last match against Luton didn’t look good for Villa, as they needed a late winner from Lucas Digne to win the game. The going might get tougher this weekend for Unai Emery’s side. While Jacob Ramsey might be fit, they will be missing Tyrone Mings, Diego Carlos, Jhon Duran, Emiliano Buendia, and Boubacar Kamara. On the other hand, the visiting team has been in decent form, and its attacking threat will be a challenge for Villa.

Which EPL Team Should You Bet On Over The Weekend?

Given that all matches in our tripleheader play a massive role in how the season ends, which team should you bet on? When you compare odds from different bookies, you’ll see that Arsenal (1.24) are heavy favourites to beat Brentford (11.0), and Manchester City (2.23) are favourites to win at Liverpool (2.90). In contrast, bookies think Aston Villa (2.44) will beat Tottenham (2.55). The odds for these games ending in a draw are 6.60, 3.75, and 4.00, respectively.

While not many punters are courageous enough to bet on draws, I’m going to bet on draws between Liverpool vs. Manchester City, Aston Villa vs. Spurs, and an Arsenal win. With favourable EPL odds for draws, I’m going to reap big rewards if my predictions are correct. Remember, these are our EPL predictions; the choice is always yours to make.
